Aerosmith has had an incredible career - or two.  They had a historic career writing some of the greatest classic rock songs before breaking up and having their notorious 'comeback' which made them bigger than ever!  They have so many classics one DVD can't begin to cover them all.  This one focuses on the earlier classics - which brought back some great memories.  Songs like Dream On and Walk This Way were some of the first songs I learned on the guitar but are by no means simple to play. 

This series tries to provide something for a wide range of abilities and levels but is geared toward Mid-Beginner thru Upper-Intermediate players.   This DVD attempts to cover each song in detail including most of the main lead parts.  Some of these songs are more difficult than others and newer players may need to take some time with some while others are pretty basic classic chord work.  Some of the guitar parts mix rhythm with lead lines as the main part of the song which make them extremely fun to play.  While this series is still not recommended for those who ONLY want to learn lead licks, this DVD should have plenty of work for a fairly wide range of abilities.  .

 *This DVD is intended for Beginner+ to Intermediate/Adv guitar players who already know some chords but want to learn more songs they like.  These lessons teach the chords, notes and techniques necessary to play the songs - so the student will enjoy playing and have fun advancing through practice.

This DVD progresses from more basic songs to more advanced.  A wide range of experience levels can benefit and newer players can continue learning from these DVD's as their level and ability increases with practice.

** There is a special folder on the DVD that includes instructional material about chords and notes, tablature, and software that you can use to create your own PC jam-along kit!  Much of this is available from the Internet already but it was selected and included for newer guitarists that might need some additional help.  The basics such as knowing chords and notes on the guitar are important to get the most out of this DVD.   This directory also includes a shareware program and a plug-in that you can use to play along with the new songs you just learned -- even slow down songs to play at YOUR SPEED!   This is accessible by reading the DVD in a PC with a DVD drive.  If you do not have a PC DVD drive and feel you need this information, a separate CD can be requested that contains this information for $1 extra - please email the request at time of DVD purchase.
