The Stones have helped build rock as we know it.  While often referred to by some as the "Worlds Greatest Rock Band", it can not be disputed that they have written some of the coolest and best known rock songs of all time.  Unlike so many of their peers, they never really went through the break up and 'comeback' thing because they have never really gone away!  They have so many classics one DVD can't begin to cover them all but tried to focus on a few of the earlier classics like Paint I t Black and Sympathy for the Devil. 

This series tries to provide something for a wide range of abilities and levels but is geared toward Mid-Beginner thru Upper-Intermediate players.   This DVD attempts to cover each song in detail including most of the main lead parts.  Several of these stones songs are not extremely difficult and newer players may find this a good choice for practicing basic chord work.  Some of the guitar parts are known for mixing rhythmic lead lines which make them extremely fun to play.  While not recommended for someone who wants to learn lots of complicated single note lead lines, this DVD should be great for those who know these songs and want to learn to play them completely.

 *This DVD is intended for Beginner+ to Intermediate/Adv guitar players who already know some chords but want to learn more songs they like.  These lessons teach the chords, notes and techniques necessary to play the songs - so the student will enjoy playing and have fun advancing through practice.

This DVD progresses from more basic songs to more advanced.  A wide range of experience levels can benefit and newer players can continue learning from these DVD's as their level and ability increases with practice.

** There is a special folder on the DVD that includes instructional material about chords and notes, tablature, and software that you can use to create your own PC jam-along kit!  Much of this is available from the Internet already but it was selected and included for newer guitarists that might need some additional help.  The basics such as knowing chords and notes on the guitar are important to get the most out of this DVD.   This directory also includes a shareware program and a plug-in that you can use to play along with the new songs you just learned -- even slow down songs to play at YOUR SPEED!   This is accessible by reading the DVD in a PC with a DVD drive.  If you do not have a PC DVD drive and feel you need this information, a separate CD can be requested that contains this information for $1 extra - please email the request at time of DVD purchase.
