This DVD series includes lessons that are designed to benefit a wide ranges of ages and abilities. While basic guitar abilities are a prerequisite of this series, newer students can find months of material to work on in each DVD - starting on easier songs and working up to the more difficult. The more experienced players may still find surprises in the easier material or just move more quickly to the more advanced details of the chords, riffs and leads. This series does NOT include any TAB or written material - its designed to teach thru visual and audio instruction and demonstration. By watching and playing along with guitar in hand, the student is also training his ear with the ultimate goal of being able to pick out songs on their own.
(NOTE: This DVD is geared toward early to mid-intermediate level players - while it has some advanced material it is not intended for advanced players only interested in the more difficult and lead material. Ted Nugent is an incredible player and this includes some of his well known intense guitar work. The chords and rhythm work is not especially difficult for those fluent in rock rhythm guitar but the the leads may require a bit more experience to be able to play these songs without some practice. However, this also is NOT designed for ADVANCED players only interested in detailed leads only - it is geared toward more intermediate players who want to learn the complete songs and some of the great techniques and leads made popular by Ted Nugent.)

Backing Tracks!: This DVD also includes some sample MP3 backing tracks of basic Drums/Bass parts as well separate mixes with Guitar & Lead parts so you have something to practice and play along with. Also included is shareware MP3 player and plugins but obviously, do not include the original songs (and as always, please BUY the original CD's if you don't already own them). Sometimes all the vocals and other instruments can get 'in the way' of the guitar parts, so I try to create backing tracks both as a stripped basic track and also with all the guitars and leads so you can choose which to play along with. By using a Guitar Synthesizer, Bass Lines are laid as well as sometimes instruments 'not' found in the original - but its intended as another tool to play with and learn. Playing along with the original recording is also a good idea.
