Tom Petty - 'BEST OF' CLASSICS

These songs come from the Best Of compilation of Tom Petty.  Similar to the CCR, there are not a lot of complicated lead parts which allowed me to cover more songs than normal.  Tom Petty is definately 'song' oriented and writes some incredible rockin' songs which focus on just basic rock riffs and structures without a lot of flashy or overly complicated parts.  I tried to include as many of the 'best of' well-known songs that are juicy-jangly-fun to play with a few tasty rhythmic leads thrown in for good measure. 

This series tries to provide something for a wide range of abilities and levels although it is generally geared toward late-Beginner thru Upper-Intermediate players. Chord work is not extremely difficult and some players may find this DVD a good choice for practicing more basic chord work. While not recommended for advanced players wanting only complicated lead lines, this DVD could be great fun for anyone who is a big Tom Petty/Heartbreaker fans and general intermediate players wanting a variety of chords and jangly leads.
